Dr. Eric Slapnicher is a graduate of Hastings High School. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and obtained his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
While in optometry school, Dr. Slapnicher received clinical honors in Pediatrics & Low Vision and was a member of Student Optometric Service to Humanity (SOSH), where he traveled to remote locations in Guatemala to provide eye care to individuals in need.
Dr. Slapnicher is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Minnesota Optometric Associations (MOA).
Dr. Slapnicher volunteers with a local elementary school as a Junior Achievement ambassador for a second grade class. He also serves on the Regina Foundation Board.
Dr. Slapnicher resides in Minneapolis with his wife and three kids and enjoys seeing live music, reading and following the English Premiere League.
