Dr. Joe Slapnicher opened the original eye care clinic in January of 1974. The practice evolved into a full-scope eye care facility over the years as Dr. Joe developed a rapport with his patients and the Hastings community.
Now in its second generation, Rivertown Eye Care is today owned by his son, Dr. Eric Slapnicher. We continue to provide the latest in expert and comprehensive eye care and eye-health technology.
Our friends, family, and neighbors are also our patients. We look forward to growing our Rivertown family and continuing to provide exceptional care to everyone who walks through our doors.
